he has stated that he will try to pass legislation next year to make it easier for immigrants to become us citizens. he is waiting because he is really focused on the economy and health care right now.
He’s losing his asss now over his healthcare crap….just wait until the firestorm begins when he wants to give amnesty to illegals.
just as soon as he fixes the economy and job loses in the hundreds of thousands a month have stopped, so pretty much, it ain’t gonna happen
It may take awhile~Obama and even the Republicans are not pressing on these issues~it seems to be the illegals get all the attention and your husband it not in that category and is trying to go according to Law.
Keep sending your Congressmen or women letters and e-mail telling of your individual case~it may help as election year is 2010
Good luck
Don’t look for it any time soon. Look what the Republicans are doing to Health Care Reform, and 90% of the population agrees that it is needed. If President Obama was to even mention Immigration Reform right now it would probably doom it and Health Care Reform right now. When the economy rebounds and if Health Care Reform is passed then he can safely bring up Immigration Reform.
I hope not !
Listen, if you so much want to be together, then just move you can legally stay together–I don’t know, is it Mexico that your husband resides?
By the way, if you are an American, you may bring him here??
I do not want immigration reform. I want our government to enforce the laws of the United States. That will take care of the illegal immigrant situation.
If conservatives weren’t insisting on thwarting his every move and would let him pass healthcare legislation now, President Obama would be able to deal with immigration next.
