This is typical of what the GOP has come too. They say they want something that is important to the American people but when the opportunity comes to do something they come up with a reason why they will not support the effort. Example – they said they are all for Health Care Reform but before the bill was even drafted they said they would fight it. They did everything they could to stop the bill. They said they were submitting proposals but they never publicized them and they never argued them; they just did not try to negotiate. They are doing the same thing now with the Finance Reform efforts. They pick out a small detail and rather than trying to debate and/or negotiate they try to stop the entire process. Why they can not go to the table, review the proposals, debate them and try to work out solutions that will help get America back is almost criminal. Their goal is to see Obama fails – not help fix America’s problems.
This makes plenty of sense to them. They are so full of hatred and envy of Obama its driving them insane. They don’t even make sense to the people any longer.Even the answers here are getting boring, all the same though i dont mind putting their own words in front of them it makes them even more insane.
Excellent question…their waffling on issues is just their way of stopping the Dems from passing anymore bills in Congress…they cannot afford the Dems to pass anything or Obama to appear to be making changes. Just their way of dragging their feet to slow down progress. You would think people would figure them out. Snowe that pretended to work on health care reform…and then mockingly said she had no intentions of supporting it. Lindsey Graham worked on Immigration and Climate control…TWO different bills and now he is reneging on his support.
It is all a game to the power hungry republicans…they want control so bad..that they resort to playing these simple games…disgusting that people believe them and would vote for them.
